Grant County Public Hospital District No. 5, was formed in 1984. The Hospital District operates the Mattawa Community Medical Clinic to provide primary medical care to all in the District.

Daniel E Sloane, DO
Dr. Sloane is a DO and has been with the Clinic since 2004. He has worked in Community Health, Emergency Room, and as a Hospital Director.
Cynthia Johnson, RD
Cindy Johnson, our Registered Dietitian, has been with the Clinic since 2005. She has previous experience in hospitals, with Head Start, and teaching college nutrition classes. She graduated from California State University and completed her internship at Indiana and Purdue University Medical Center but claims rural Washington state as home. She provides nutrition counseling by referral.
April Biggs, MD Medical Director
April Biggs went through undergraduate school at Hendrix College with a BA in Chemistry then went to the University of Arkansas for Medical Science graduating with her MD. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine.
