Board

Barbara Davis has been a resident of Desert air Since 2012 and a Board member since 2013. As well as an elected commissioner for Hospital District #5 since 2021. Her background includes being an EMT, Accounting, business management, and project management.

Dana has been with the Mattawa Community Medical Clinic for the past 25 years.  During that time, she has worked as a Pharmacy Assistant, CMA, and currently holds the title of both CEO for the Mattawa Medical Clinic and Administrative Superintendent for the Grant County Public Hospital District No. 5.  Dana has completed Fellowships with the Geiger Gibson Program in Community Health Policy in Washington, DC. Holds a Fellow as a Community Health Center Executive from the Department of Health Policy and Management from the University of Kansas Medical Center, and has completed the UCLA/Johnson and Johnson Health Care Executive Program. Dana has also obtained her Associates Degree in General Studies and Medical Assisting.

Dana enjoys meeting and serving the people of Mattawa and has a true passion for bringing services to the area.  She has a passion for healthcare and ensuring that the people of Mattawa and the surrounding area receive the care they require.

Jessica Fernandez, Position #1, has proudly served as a Commissioner for the Grant County Public Hospital District #5 since 2021. A lifelong resident of the area, Jessica was raised in Mattawa, WA, and is committed to supporting the health and well-being of the community she calls home.

As a mother of five children, Jessica understands the importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare services for local families. Her dedication to public service is driven by a desire to strengthen healthcare resources and support the continued growth of the community.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys attending community events, spending time with her family, and exploring opportunities to improve and support this community.

A Mattawa resident for over 30 years, Tiffany has raised four children in this community and, like many local families, has relied on the Mattawa Community Medical Clinic for generations of care. This firsthand experience has given her a deep appreciation for health care choice, access, and the personal, high-quality care that is increasingly rare today. Tiffany understands the unique challenges rural families face in securing affordable care close to home, delivered by staff who are also neighbors. Professionally, Tiffany works with an educational non-profit dedicated to programs that center family, culture, and community. Outside of work, she volunteers locally and abroad as a literacy advocate and enjoys exploring new vegetarian recipes in the kitchen. Tiffany is committed to preserving and strengthening accessible, personal health care for the Mattawa community.
